CELEBRATION, Fla. (May 18, 2016) – This week, the Disney Magic embarks on a14-night eastbound transatlantic cruise from Port Canaveral, Fla., to Dover, England, and will celebrate inaugural calls in select ports throughout the voyage.
- Wednesday, May 18 – Boston, Mass.
- Friday, May 20 – Sydney, Nova Scotia
- Thursday, May 26 – Dublin, Ireland
- Friday, May 27 – Liverpool, England
“Each of these destinations provides our guests with unique travel experiences deeply rooted in history, culture and natural beauty,” said Captain Andy McRonald. “We’re truly honored to be able to bring our guests to these incredible cities and inspire vacation memories that will last a lifetime.”
To commemorate these inaugural visits, Captain Andy McRonald and shipboard officials will host local port and community leaders onboard the 2,700 passenger vessel for a traditional maritime plaque exchange ceremony in each port of call.
This summer season, the Disney Magic will take 13 European voyages with return stops to Dublin and Liverpool in June during a 12-night Britain and Ireland sailing departing from Dover. The Disney Magic will also return to Sydney, Nova Scotia later this year in September during a transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to New York City.
