TORTOLA, British Virgin Islands (January 9, 2016) – Disney Wonder called on Tortola today, and in keeping with maritime tradition, the shipboard officers hosted a first-call celebration onboard the 2,700 passenger vessel.
Captain Fabian Dib and the shipboard officers welcomed local port officials and community leaders aboard the ship for a plaque exchange ceremony.
Disney Cruise Line is scheduled to make 12 calls on Tortola beginning in 2016 through early 2017 with three of its four ships – Disney Magic, Disney Wonder and Disney Fantasy.
